Please Read the important information below:

Take the booking confirmation number with you.

Make sure that staff dropping off and picking up the bird(s) know exactly what they are doing/where they have to be/who they hand the birds(s) to etc.

On the day of translocation, transfer box(es) / Yellow Crates will need to be taken to the Air NZ Cargo Terminal at least 60 minutes prior to flight departure unless otherwise agreed with Air NZ. Ensure the booking reference number is in hand.

There will be a couple of standard security procedures that will need to be worked through upon arrival at Cargo hence the reason for the earlier arrival time.

The person dropping off the animals will need government issued photographic ID (e.g. drivers licence) and answer some security questions at the cargo acceptance counter.

Upon arrival at the destination, staff collecting the transfer box(es) will need to be at the Cargo Terminal (with the government issued photographic ID) at flight arrival time unless other arrangements have been made with Air New Zealand Cargo staff.

Transfer box(es) travelling in the cargo hold will be delivered to the Cargo Terminal in all ports except Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch where they will be delivered to the Cargo Terminal buildings before being handed over to staff at this location.
